This Working Paper reports on two village level livelihoods studies, conducted as part of the HyCRISTAL rural livelihoods pilot. Detailed quantitative information was collected from households residing in lakeshore communities in Uganda, one on Lake Wamala in Mityana district and one on Lake Victoria in Mukono district.
