Meredydd is an intern with Evidence for Development, currently working on nutrition and open-source software projects.
Meredydd recently returned from Bangladesh where he was a VSO volunteer working with indigenous minorities. He worked in partnership with the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, Dhaka University, to research and improve the resilience of indigenous communities in areas of climate change, resource security and income diversity. Part of Meredydd’s work included building capacities and social capital among disadvantaged young people.
He contributes to seminars and conferences across Europe on themes of youth facilitation and sustainable development and intends to pursue a career in international development upon completion of his degree. Meredydd is very excited to be working with Evidence for Development.
