Hosea is an Evidence for Development Associate based in Kenya. He is an agriculturalist with expertise in agricultural extension, agronomy, horticulture, livestock production, natural resource management, agroforestry and biodiversity conservation.

Hosea has led a number of IHM assessments. He has also been involved in HEA work conducting livelihood zoning and wealth breakdown interviews. He has worked with EfD in Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya supporting projects of partner organizations including Self Help Africa, Send a Cow Uganda and FHI 360.

Hosea has also worked as an agricultural extension officer for the Ministry of Agriculture in Kenya, as a Project Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor for Self Help Africa, Program Manager at Solidaridad in charge of horticulture and food security and Regional Manager for East and Southern Africa at Rainforest Alliance Inc.

Hosea has an MSc in Agricultural Extension from Egerton University, Njoro and a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi. Over the last 15 years, he has also received specialized training in result based management, program cycle management and biodiversity conservation.
