Geraint Thomas

Intern

Geraint is a MESci Geology graduate from Cardiff University whose expertise involves data analysis and research techniques. His Masters research looked into the possibility that photosynthesising phytoplankton could have reduced atmospheric CO2 by reproducing in dense numbers to cause a global cooling event 22 million years ago. This research allowed him to use statistical analysis to find patterns within the large dataset.

Geraint is translating these data analysis skills from the physical sciences to the social sciences, and is looking forward to helping out with EfD’s work.
