Simran joined EFD as an intern in January 2022 from King’s College London as part of the Environmental Internship Module. She undertook her Masters in Environmental Science for Sustainability and has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

She has a strong interest in Renewable Energy and is keen to explore the benefit it can provide to rural communities. Having worked on IHM data from Northern Ghana during her internship she went on to write her dissertation on “Investigating the introduction of solar powered irrigation system to Northern Ghana” using IHM data from EFD to support her work.
